JOEY MORENO

Joey is a 22-year-old tattoo artist at Vessel Tattoo, born and raised for most of his life in California. He has been tattooing for four years, but his love for art started long before that—he’s been drawing for as long as he can remember. Joey enjoys working in black and grey realism and has a particular interest in skulls and religious pieces, but he appreciates tattooing in all styles and is always open to new ideas and creative directions.

As a Christian and a family-oriented person, Joseph brings patience, meaning, and personal connection into his work. Outside of tattooing, he’s working on building his own clothing brand and stays active through the gym and martial arts. He’s also a big sports fan, especially when it comes to the San Diego Padres and the Baltimore Ravens. Growing up with an older sister and a strong family the last few years has influence and shaped much of who he is today.
